Finally fixed the typo in the link to the rally video. Once again a big thanx to Michael :-).
There are no real news to report, so stop reading and switch on your tv because in one and half hour the waiting is over... hooooray! Welcome back Eau rouge, Blanchimont, La Source and all the other great corners being the best racing track in the world.

So, ein winziges update um Christian ruhig zu stellen :). Ihm ist es übrigens zu verdanken, daß diese Seite seit kurzem eine gallery besitzt.
Und nun der Grund dafür, daß das heutige update auf deutsch erscheint: Rumo & Die Wunder im Dunkeln, ein wunderschöner Roman von Walter Moers. Einige reiselustige haben ja schon von der Lindwurmfeste gehört aber es wird später noch viel skuriler und enorm spannend. Und (Überaschung) Rumo wird doch nicht der erste Held der Wolpertinger ;).
Schloßgarten- und vorlesetauglich ist das Buch, in der Badewanne sollte man jedoch aufgrund des Gewichts Vorsicht walten lassen. Wasserratten sei an dieser Stelle der Erwerb der Taschenbuchausgabe ans Herz gelegt.
Fernsehgeschädigten mit verkrüppelter Phantasie kommt überdies zu gute, daß das Buch mit zahlreichen Illustrationen daher kommt. Und es ist sehr schön gesetzt, z.B. ist Löwenzahn im folgenden Auszug wie im ganzen Buch eigentlich kursiv gesetzt, was im späteren Verlauf der Handlung noch ganz viel Sinn macht (ich habe mir das kursiv hier mal gespart).
"Und? Wie ist es gelaufen?" fragte Löwenzahn plötzlich.
Rumo war zu verdutzt, um verärgert zu reagieren. "Löwenzahn? Wo warst du die ganze Zeit?"
"Keine Ahnung, ehrlich gesagt. Muß wohl eine vorübergehende Ohnmacht gewesen sein oder so was. Wußtest du, daß Schwerter ohnmächtig werden können? Ich nicht, huhähä! Ich bin erst wieder zu mir gekommen, als ich plötzlich in diesem Baum steckte. Hab' ich was verpasst?"
"Du warst ohnmächtig?"
"Mir ist das Licht ausgegangen, gleich am Anfang des Kampfes. Dieser Degen raste auf mich zu, und dann diese furchtbare Erschütterung ..."
"Du hast mich im Stich gelassen! Du hast mich in diese Sache reingequatscht, und im wichtigsten Augenblick wirst du ohnmächtig!" Rumo schnaufte.
"Meine Güte, bist du unsensibel! Ich stehe immer noch unter Schock! Herrje, das war mein erster Kampf. Ich wußte nicht, daß alles so schnell geht. War das schnell! Hoi! Weißt du, was das für ein Gefühl ist, mit einer anderen Klinge zusammenzukrachen? Hast du die Funken gesehen?"
"Du willst ein Schwert sein", schnaufte Rumo. "Lächerlich!"
"Ich bin ein Messer!", sagte Löwenzahn eingeschnappt.
"Aha - also doch ein Messer."
"Na und? Meinst du, deswegen hätte ich keine Gefühle?"
Zitat Ende. Lesen, marsch marsch! Ich werde mir dann mal die anderen Zamonien Bücher vornehmen, sobald ich Rumo ein zweites mal gelesen habe.

You can either blame the windows 2000 driver support or my stupity of not downloading the drivers before our trip... anyway, we were unable to copy the Münsterland 3rd. edition pictures from the digicam to my laptop :(. So we only have one 16mb memory card full of stuff which equals 5 pictures and a rally video:

Hmmm, integrating a guestbook can take a whole afternoon. It seems to work now although Michael still reports some problems (with Mozilla 1.7.1, no problems here with 1.6). I do hope that all the people who have seen the guestbook while i was buisy changing the stylesheets have survived the lsd trip - it was ugly, wasn't it?
I guess now i have to think about some stupid text for "about me"... damn it.

Started to update the design. The new design is based on the image "ashes-1" by Maikls Eglitis aka modulis, which can be found here.

Thanks to Christian for giving me all the layout stuff and templates of his homepage. What you are seeing here right now is my humble attempt to turn his design into something different, so to say.
A gallery and a guestbook will be here someday but right now i'm busy completing the design and creating content.
Oh, did i tell that this is the very private homepage of me, Jan Quadflig? Well, now you know.
